Alocasia brancifolia 'Albo Variegata' is one of the most striking Alocasia species, captivating with its deeply lobed, narrow leaves combined with clear, white albino variegation . Offered as corms/rhizomes , they are ideal for collectors who wish to cultivate this exceptional variegata from the very beginning.
Even in their early stages, many plants show initial lighter markings, stripes, or marbled areas, which become more pronounced as the leaves grow larger. Each plant develops an individual pattern – from subtle accents to striking albino segments.
The Brancifolia grows upright and structured, making it a real eye-catcher, especially in display cases or bright indoor areas. Under stable conditions and sufficient light, the variegation can develop stably over the long term.
💡 Note regarding corms / rhizomes:
Rhizomes are dormant plant parts without visible leaves. The degree of variegation can vary in form, intensity, and distribution, and is not identical in every shoot.
💡 Growing tip:
The best substrate is airy, slightly moist (e.g., perlite, Pon, or fine aroid mix) at 22–28 °C , high humidity, and bright, indirect light. Waterlogging must be avoided at all costs.
