The Alocasia Wentii Aurea Variegata is an exceptional collector's rarity, enchanting with its large, elegantly shaped leaves and fascinating golden-yellow Aurea variegation. The deep green of the foliage creates a beautiful contrast to the warm yellow and gold tones, giving each leaf a particularly noble and exotic appearance.

Depending on the specimen, the Aurea variegation manifests as fine yellow speckles, marbled transitions, or strong golden segments. The pattern can change with each new leaf, making each Alocasia Wentii Aurea Variegata a unique natural work of art.

Its imposing growth habit and large, decorative leaves make it a real highlight for collectors of rare Alocasias and is particularly well-suited as a striking solitaire plant in a display case or a bright indoor setup.

Special Features

Golden Aurea Variegation: Luminous yellow and gold tones create a fascinating contrast to the deep green leaf.

Imposing Leaves: The large, elegantly shaped leaves give the plant a particularly tropical and luxurious look.

Rare Collector's Plant: An exceptional Aurea Variegata for lovers of rare and special Alocasias.

Care Instructions

Light: Bright, indirect light supports strong growth and intense Aurea coloration. Direct midday sun should be avoided.

Watering: Keep the substrate evenly slightly moist, allowing it to dry out a little between waterings. Absolutely avoid waterlogging.

Substrate: An airy, well-draining aroid mix of, for example, stratum, perlite, zeolite, and coco chips ensures good root aeration.

Temperature & Humidity: Optimal are 22–28 °C (72–82 °F) with a humidity of at least 60 %. Warm, consistent conditions promote strong growth and the development of new leaves.

💡 Tip: Sufficient bright, indirect light supports intense Aurea coloration. At the same time, the plant should not be exposed to too much direct sun, as the lighter leaf areas can be more sensitive.
